Despite having been initially postponed due to the sanitary crisis, the IUCN World Conservation Congress will finally take place from 3 to 11 September 2021!
This international congress takes place every four years. After South Korea in 2012 and the USA (Hawaii) in 2016, this is the first time that France will host this event, which will bring together 10,000 to 15,000 congress participants (scientists, politicians and government representatives, managers of protected areas, civil society and NGOs …) from all over the world.
The Congress is divided into three main components: the Assembly of Members who vote on priority actions for IUCN, the Forum dedicated to innovation for conservation, and the Exhibition where civil society actors can present their work and actions to the public.
The Pact will be present at this international event.
