The report of UN Secretary-General, António Guterres, was published on December 3rd, 2018. This report, commanded by the UN General Assembly of May 10th, 2018, “Towards a Global Pact for the Environment“, aims to assess the gaps of international environmental law in order to serve as a basis for the States’ discussions on the Global Pact.
The negotiations of the States on the need for a Global Pact for the Environment will take place during Spring 2019.
