The President of the UN General Assembly, Miroslav Lajčák, decided to appoint the two co-chairs of the working group created by the Resolution 72/272 adopted on May 10, 2018 «Towards a Global Pact for the environnement ».
The two co-chairs are Francisco António Duarte Lopes, Permanent Representative of Portugal and Amal Mudallali, Permanent Representative of Lebanon to the UN.
