Seminar in Dakar – Africa is committed to the planet

Opened by Macky Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal, this event presented the Global Pact for Environment to many stakeholders in the environment and development of French-speaking Africa. In the presence of Laurent Fabius, the former President of Cop 21 and one of the main architects of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, and senior Senegalese authorities, the Dakar Colloquium brought together many people concerned by the protection of the environment in Africa: NGOs, economic actors, politicians, lawyers, etc.

At the end of the day, the Dakar Appeal was launched in favor of the adoption of a Global Compact for the environment.
