As part of the COP26 Green Week at Wolfson, the Global Pact Coalition organized an event on October 21: Towards a Global Pact for the Environment.

This event, in partnership with Wolfson’s Sustainability Cluster and Wolfson College Cambridge, aimed to inform the public about the proposed Global Pact for the Environment and the importance of the right to a healthy environment.

The event featured a debate between high-level panelists such as Jorge E. Viñuales (Chair of Environmental Law and Policy at the University of Cambridge), Noëlle Kümpel (Director of Public Policy at Birdlife International), Alice Adami (PhD student at Cambridge and Global Compact Ambassador) or Lionel Chami (Special Advisor for the Global Compact for the Environment).
