Mention of the Global Pact in the 2018 G7 Summit Communique

The final Communique of the G7 Summit, held in Charlevoix (Quebec – Canada) on 9 June 2018, makes an explicit mention of the Global Pact for the Environment.

See Point 24, where Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the European Union declare that they “welcome the adoption by the UN General Assembly of a resolution titled “Towards a Global Pact for the Environment” and look forward to the presentation of a report by the Secretary General in the next General Assembly
